The "Old Mind" operates primarily within the left hemisphere of the brain—the realm of logic, ego, and the "letter of the law." This state is often governed by the "carnal mind," which is characterized by a sense of separation, constant judgment, and the noise of the world. In this state, the "eye" is dark because it is divided by duality (Matthew 6:23). It relies on external validation and intellectual effort, keeping the spirit bound to the physical patterns of this world and preventing the true "born again" experience of spiritual unity.
The "Renewed Mind" is the scientific and spiritual shift into the right hemisphere—the seat of intuition, unity, and divine connection. By "opening the single eye" (Matthew 6:22), we bypass the ego’s filters and enter a state of higher consciousness. This is the physiological reality of being transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2). In this state, the brain achieves "whole-brain integration," allowing you to perceive the Kingdom of Heaven as a present reality. It is a shift from thinking about truth to existing in the light of Yahusha.
Matthew 6:22, Yahusha taught: "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." This is not a metaphor—it is a physiological instruction.
The "Single Eye" refers to the pineal gland, located at the geometric center of the brain. When we move out of the analytical, "Old Mind" (left hemisphere) and enter the "Renewed Mind" (right hemisphere), we activate this center. Scientifically, this shift allows the brain to produce endogenous compounds that clarify perception, effectively "filling the body with light."
By silencing the dualistic nature of the left brain, the "Single Eye" opens. This allows the seeker to move beyond the five senses and enter the "Born Again" state—a state of direct communion with the Creator where the mind is no longer conformed to this world but transformed by the light of Truth.
The Scientific Shift: Entry into the Kingdom is a literal shift in brain frequency. The left hemisphere is the "Wide Gate"—it is noisy, analytical, and rooted in the past and future. To enter the "Narrow Gate," one must learn to inhibit the dominant left-brain chatter. This allows the right hemisphere to become the primary processor, shifting the individual from a state of "Survival" (Fight/Flight) to a state of "Creation" (Peace/Enlightenment).
The Born Again Process: Being "Born Again" is the biological result of this hemispheric synchronization. When the right hemisphere is activated, the brain's "Default Mode Network" (the Ego) is quieted. This creates the "Scientific Entry" where the mind is no longer distracted by the 3D world of the five senses. In this stillness, the frequencies of the Messiah can be felt and integrated, leading to the transformation of the entire nervous system.
The Practical Step: This is not achieved through intellectual study alone, but through the consistent practice of "Stillness." By centering the attention at the Single Eye and letting go of the linear logic of the left brain, the portal to the Right Hemisphere opens, and the journey toward the Renewed Mind begins.
